The one year warranty

Your home’s one year warranty coverage begins on the date of possession and remains in effect even if the home is sold before the warranty expires.

Warranty service requests

During the first year of possession of your home, you will have two opportunities to report warranty items covered by the Tarion Warranty Corporation Plan Act.

At any time within the first 30 days after possession, you may submit a 30-Day Form listing outstanding PDI items and any new items discovered since you took possession of your home.

The year-end form

After your new home has weatherd an Ontario winter, new first year warranty items may emerge.

At any time within the last 30 days before the expiry of year one of your warrant, you may submit a Year-End Form listing any new or outstanding items.

The two year warranty

Your home’s two year warranty coverage begins on the date of possession and remains in effect even if the home is sold before the warranty expires.
